A very good condition hard back book with dust jacket. First edition published in 1918. The cover is illustrated with a picture of Celts in a boat in brown, blue, yellow and black. The cover is intact with only minor bumping to the corners. the binding is good. the pages are complete and clean and the text and pictures are clear. One hundred and thirty illustrations. The illustrated dust jacket is scuffed and has some marks and tears to the edges. A collectable children's history book through the ages.
